Keys: design, ergonomy, taxonomy, navigation, presentation, organization, structure, template

1/ Navigation principles & zoning
The main navigation is based on 3 principles:
A top-down navigation, associated to my professional activities
A right-left navigation, associated to my hobbies
A quick access module, associated to my personal informations

The pages template is structured as follow:

Note that all the pages have a Print button which remove the navigation zones and set-up the page for a correct printing. It only works with Internet Explorer.

2/ About the horizontal navigation bar
The "professional activities" taxonomy located on the top navigation horizontal bar follow the classification shown in the below graphic. Notions of Methods & Efficiency, Arts & Creativity, and Investigations & Studies do not appear in the navigation.

The top horizontal navigation bar also include a home-link (by clicking on the "eyes", left side) and access to the French & Chinese version of the site.

3/ About the vertical navigation bar
The vertical column on the right presents 3 modules:
Quick access to images & videos galleries, resumes and publications
Hobbies pages access
A quote, different for every page

4/ About the legal bottom bar
The bottom part of the pages is a black horizontal bar displaying the copyright mentions and giving access to the disclaimers/terms.

5/ Other decoration elements
The left vertical band is composed of the declination of my name in Chinese (Mo2 Yao4 Wu3), Japanese (Morêru Giyômu) & Korean (Morel Giyeom).

The image located on the bottom right side of the page, and often truncated by the navigator (depending on the screen resolution) is a Chinese quote, for curious people. I let you guess its meaning ! =)

"Presentation is as important as content."
cf. Guillaume Morel

Dunno if someone else saif it... anyway these words are just the negation of the popular thought that content is more important than presentation. Presentation is important because it is necessary to convey the content. If the presentation is poor, the content risks being forgotten, not shared, not seen !
